The Maroon Night

Last day of working as Customer Service Representative at Brightstar. Job scope sounds easy and relaxing, but in fact it is challenging. This is a very good stage to train your tolerance. But the worse part is, my tolerance getting lower and lower and I don't feel like talking at all after work. Seems like working at the customer service department consumed most of my energy.

But cannot be denied, working here makes me had the most fruitful semester break ever. I learned a lot, makes a lot of new friends, meet a lot of people from different background and lifestyle as well as let me understand how far I can go. Surprisingly, what I learned the most from there is nothing related to my job but the art of handling relationship. Relationships between colleagues and your another half. They make me understand how complicated your feeling could be, the strength of love that could makes miracles and so on. Okay la it sounds ridiculous here but thats really what I heard and see during my working days.

Before I forget, I would like to thanks all my colleagues who given me supports and companions. Although the chance for you all to view this page is very tiny, but I still feel like expressing here so that when i read back my blog, I could recall that I got a bunch of lovely colleagues from Brightstar. :-*

Oh yea, almost forgotten, it is so lucky for us to get free Maroon 5 concert tickets on the last working day of us.

Life is nothing but challenges

Yea people i had found something for me to do to occupy this 3 months semester break!

I get a job in Brightstar distribution center as customer service officer. Seriously i hate this job because the workload is enough to make me breathless. Emails, phone calls, walk in customer and all those updating orders tasks sound simple yet it's difficult for a freshie to complete it perfectly especially for people like me who blur for 24/7. And the worst thing comes when i just have 3 days to learn everything from the experienced staff and she will be leaving this company for study.

Fyi, besides of distributing phones, this center do service Blackberry as well. I know nothing about BB, not even hold it for more then 15 minutes, how am i suppose to answer those killing questions from customer?? T_________________________T

And I will have break alone start from Monday since all staffs are having different break time from the customer service department. T_______________________T

But no worries! since i promise to work here till end of April, I will take this job as my challenge. Cannot deny that I have learn many things from this job eventhough I just worked for 3 days. At least I have to speak English daily which can help me to improve my language skill? =) I know I will be scolded for N times due to my blur-ness but I will tahan till end of April! *unless they fired me =(* Hope to see my improvement after these 3 months and I believe that I will be more independent after this! =)

Emm.. Besides of this bloody job, maintaining a relationship seems like a tough task recently. Frictions always occur when there is two different people in two different environment. I know, anger will just makes the situation worse. As long as we are still loving each other, everything can be solved right? =)

The end of those tiring days

Working from 10am-10pm for the whole week is tiring as I expected, but never know it will be so boring at the same time.

I was dead because of the boredom for the first few days. Thanks the Malay guard who sympathy me and put a stool at my booth so that I can sit there and day dreaming, much better than standing there with the very pain heels and legs. I thought I will forget how to talk after this week as there is no crowd at the lower ground floor of Time Square so no one to talk with me. =(


This shows how boring I felt that time. All these words was written by me. =(

Luckily, it wasn't that bad as a few promoters for other brands were working after a few days. Finally there are someone to talk to me.


This is the promoter for Avene brand. She is a very rich girl from Xi An, China, but she looks like local chinese right? Luckily her china slang wasn't that serious, i still manage to cope with what she said. We talked a lot, laughed a lot and she brought me to a China restaurant with very yummylicious dumplings. *slurp slurp*

艰辛的路途

今天在没有办法之下，乘搭KTM到Midvalley应征工作。




本来只想碰碰运气，没有说很想工作。

都不晓得是运气好还是运气坏，就这样把我的假期给排得满满的。

其实也不赖，反正在家里也只会无所事事。

在13-19th这七天，我将会在Guardian工作。

这些就是工作用到的赠品啦。

很重。

尤其当你还要跟别人挤在小小而且不通风的车厢时，

手上捧着，肩上背着的那几盒东西，简直可以拿你命。

我没有夸张，你可以自己去尝试。

只能说，乘搭KTM的一天，就会是pek chek 的一天。

东西太重，手和肩膀都留下瘀青，对不起，会好好补偿你们的。



A not so good MONDAY

Yea it's a Monday and I am not supposed to be here for bloggie..

I feel bad for skipping the classes as exam is coming very soon and the lessons taught today might be important as well.. But what to do? I don want myself to get even more ill and ended up cant do any revision for the exam somemore I don't think I am able to pay attention with a going-to-be exploded head and the volcano throat (okay la I know I over exaggerate it). So I decided to have a good rest at home. Hrmp..

I don't really know what's the main reason that lead to this illness.

Maybe because of everyday nasi lemak breakfast + the stupid extreme big difference between the temperature of outdoor and indoor + shouted like a mad to push sales since I am not born with loud voice?? How I wish I could have Elaine's voice at that moment. When customer cannot hear what I said, I can only shout since that's my maximum volume already.. ='(

Oh I should have mentioned that I have been working for Pikom PC Fair for past 3 days. Okay la, cannot be denied that selling external hard disk is an easy job as you don't need any experty in IT knowledge. But maybe it's my personal problem for not able to reach a good sales. Some of my colleagues can earn 600+ bucks for 3 working days, while mine just half of it. Argh so sad. Maybe I just not used to work under individual commission. I just don't like people chasing around the customer and fight just because of the commission. I used to be working in a harmony and cooperative working environment, so this is absolutely a big NO NO.
I guess I wont accept any job with individual commission anymore.

I just realised that not much things I can do at home. Mum went out for gai gai with her ji muiss.. BORED!!! Okay la, that's all.. Please recover very soon, I promise I wont consume any spicy and fried food anymore.. (for this week only)

i am not a workaholic

And yesh, finally my part time job as promoter for Schick shaver comes to an end!!

I knew it will be tough time for me since i have tonnes of tutorial, presentations and many other work waiting in the to-do-list. But it was actually even more hard to go through this since i got test, convocation, class replacement as requested by the very free tutor......... so i ended up skip 3 working days by giving all those silly excuses.. i am so sorry for being such irresponsible since i had promised to commit all the weekends in July.. Sorry Helen!!! =(

For those who work while studying, you will definitely understand how i feel.. Yea, it's TIRING, TIRING and TIRING.. But the best part of working is that, you will get to know a lot of different people from different background and personalities.. It's fun to make friends and talk with them.

I can say that, the working life at Watson without you all will be very dead.. =)

Going to work as Seagate external hard disk promoter for this coming pc fair, hopefully can get lotsa commission so that i can enjoy my semester break without working again!! hee


And not forgotten, Happy 15th monthsary my dear!! ♥♥♥



MTV WOrld Stage 2010

I actually don't really know how to evaluate this concert as it was sucks but awesome at the same time.. haha..


I shall begin with how i get those tickets. Well, ah dear's mummy's colleague's friend (in short, someone) asked him to work for as the Wrigley new chewing gum's sampling promoter. He asked me to work along as there will be FREE TICKETS for the concert.. I really feel like going as this will be my very first time going for concert!! Okay I know it makes me sounds like I am those kinda kampung moi and fyi, i never been to club as well.. Ah how sad, i will go clubbing at least once before i turn 21, i promised.. Hee


Distributing sampling was just a piece of cake as it's hardly got people will refused to take free samples right.. Start working at around 2.30pm and end work at around 7pm if not mistaken.. Get 40 bucks and of course, a free ticket for the concert!! woohoo..





As you all can see, it's a rainy day.. It will really affect your mood since it keeps on drizzling for the whole event.. And I just read from the newspaper, it's more than 15000 people came for the concert this year.. Imagine that you're fighting for fresh air with 15000 people and YET, those stupid idiots start SMOKING.. Heeello, do you ever know that your cigarette is releasing carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and water vapor as well?? And you had taken away my oxygen just to to light up your cigarette.. I am sorry for the offense but concert is really not a right place for you to smoke..





The performances were delay due to the technical problem, so we have to wait for more than 1 hour in between.. But of course, everyone were waken by the awesome music from Tokio Hotel!!! OMG, TOKIO HOTEL YOU ROCK BABES!! ♥


And did i mentioned that the artists that participate in this concert includes Bunkface ( a local band i guess), Wonder Girls, Tokio Hotel and Katy Perry!! Yea as usual, Katy Perry is still that hot!! =)


Met with ah penn, who i didn't meet up with for looong time already.. We used to be very close last time.. I miss you! =)
